U19 World Cup 2024: Australia announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming U19 Men's Cricket World Cup which is scheduled to be played in South Africa and will commence from January 13, 2024.
The squad features players who participated in the U19 Ashes (dual) this year and helped Australia win eight games whereas England settled for three matches.
Australian players were recently a part of the U19 Male National Championships which recently concluded in Albury on Thursday where the youngsters had one final chance to impress the selectors before the squad announcement and a few players cashed in big time.

Sam Konstas was one of those capitalised as he played a brilliant knock of 63* in the summit clash against Queensland and helped NSW Metro clinch the title. Konstas was awarded the Player of the Match for his crucial knock.
Konstas impressed everyone with his appreciable performances and managed to clinch a Big Bash League contract with Sydney Thunder.
Aiden O'Connor also had impressive outings in the tournament as he clinched the Brain Taber Medal after being announced as the Player of the Tournament for scoring 208 runs with the bat.
Harry Dixon was the star performer in the tournament as he amassed 222 runs at the U19 Male National Championships and has been added to the squad. He, too, has a BBL contract, with Melbourne Renegades.
The U19 World Cup was originally scheduled to be played in Sri Lanka before the ICC suspended Sri Lanka Cricket for the government's interference in the administration's decision-making.
The suspension resulted in Sri Lanka Cricket getting stripped of its U19 World Cup hosting rights.
South Africa, who hosted the women's U19 World Cup only 11 months ago, is the revised destination for the marquee tournament.
There are four groups of four in the tournament, with Australia's group including Namibia, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe.
Australia hasn't won the men's U19 World Cup since 2010, a side that was captained by Mitch Marsh and included Josh Hazlewood, Kane Richardson and Nic Maddinson.
