Bangladesh and Afghanistan will lock horns in the fourth match of the ongoing Asia Cup 2023 with the latter set to kick off their campaign at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on Sunday.

Shakib Al Hasan-led side suffered a defeat in their first match of the tournament against Sri Lanka as they will be looking to open their account.

On the other hand, Afghanistan will be playing their first match and will aim for a perfect start to claim early points.

Bangladesh stand third in Group B with no points to their name while Afghanistan are placed in the second position. Sri Lanka are at the top of the group with two points, having already won their opening match a few days ago.

According to weather.com, on September 3 (Sunday), a hot day has been predicted for the match between Bangladesh and Afghanistan. The temperature of Pakistan’s Lahore city will be 37° C during the day and is expected to drop to 31° Celsius during the night hours. The sky is expected to remain crystal clear throughout the match.

The chances of rain are close to 4% during the day and 0% at night on the match day. So, it will be a hot day and we can enjoy a healthy competition.
