BCCI Central Contracts: After a snub lasting a complete year, Indian cricketers Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan have been awarded with central contracts as per the Annual Player Retainership plan. On Monday, BCCI released a list of players eligible for central contracts with their respective grades.

Iyer, who missed out for skipping domestic cricket, is now part of Grade B. The 30-year-old cricketer was a mainstay for Team India in the middle-order playing some of the most crucial knocks. On the other hand, Kishan, who opted out of the Ranji Trophy after a break from internationals, is part of Grade C.

Notably, India's most experience lot among the likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah have been retained in the Grade A+ category.
