The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah on Saturday announced that the new National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru is nearing completion and will be inaugurated soon.
Shah shared a few photos of the academy's new design as well as details on the facilities it would provide to the country's cricket players.
The BCCI secretary took to social media to publish photographs of a pair of cricket grounds and practice pitches, claiming that the new facility will give the finest setting for players to enhance their talents.
Shah revealed that the facility would include 45 practice pitches, indoor cricket pitches, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, and cutting-edge amenities for training, recovery, and sports science. He further stated that such facilities will allow current and future cricketers to improve their skills in the greatest possible environment.
