Indian bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar left everyone guessing on Thursday with his actions on social media as the fast bowler removed 'Cricketer' from his Instagram bio of 'Indian Cricketer, which now only remains 'Indian'.

His actions triggered speculations surrounding his future as the India seamer hasn't been part of the Men in Blue setup for a while now.

Fans were quick to react and leave their takes on social media as the Rohit Sharma-led side took the field in the first ODI against West Indies at the Kensington Oval in Barbados in what is considered as their preparation for the upcoming ODI World Cup at home.

Bhuvneshwar was seen playing for India in November last year in the T2OI series against New Zealand before he was dropped for the home series against the Blackcaps and Sri Lanka.

He didn't even feature in the ODIs at home against Australia but was part of all 14 games for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL.

The 33-year-old hasn't been reported injured either with nothing transparent regarding his current scenario making his absence from the team more questionable and puzzling as well at the same time.

Since the IPL 2023, he hasn't played any competitive cricket, even staying away from domestic cricket.

Hours after the change in his Instagram bio was done, users were quick to react, many considering whether the king of swing has played his last match for India.

Talking about his numbers in 2022, Bhuvneshwar had a disappointing campaign in the T20 World Cup but finished the year as India's most successful bowler with 37 T20I wickets.

He already is not a part of the Test side and has been from ODIs, last playing a game in January of 2022, but at 33 he still has a lot to offer in the shortest format.

The pace bowler finished the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 campaign with 16 wickets to his name in 14 matches for Sunrisers.

He currently stands as the second most successful bowler for India in T20Is with 90 wickets from 87 matches, next to Yuzvendra Chahal, who leads the pack with 91.

He is the only Indian bowler to have picked a five-wicket haul in T20Is twice. He has also bowled the most overs for India in T20Is – 298 – and has a pretty decent career average of 23.10 so far.
