Bondi Beach Shooting: Former England cricketer Michael Vaughan shared his horrifying experience of being caught up in the Bondi Beach shooting incident, expressing solidarity with those affected by the tragic event.
According to reports, twelve people were killed and around a dozen were wounded when gunmen opened fire during a Jewish holiday event at Sydney's Bondi Beach on Sunday, Australian officials said.
The attack occurred on a Sunday, coinciding with a public gathering to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah, casting a shadow over the festive atmosphere.

Vaughan described the moment he was locked in a restaurant as "scary," expressing gratitude towards the emergency services and the brave individual who confronted the attacker.
Taking to his X account, Vaughan wrote, "Being locked in a restaurant in Bondi was scary .. Now home safe .. but thanks so much to the emergency services and the guy who confronted the terrorist .. thoughts with all who have been affected."

Dramatic footage shows a bystander tackling and disarming one of the gunmen. Police confirmed the operation is ongoing, with experts examining suspicious items in the area. Emergency services rushed to Campbell Parade after reports of shots being fired around 6:45 pm.
Michael is currently in Australia covering the Ashes series as a broadcaster. The third Test, set to begin on December 17 in Adelaide, will see Australia looking to consolidate their 2-0 lead over England.
