Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024: India will lock horns with Australia for the series opener in Perth, which will be held on Friday, and being fully aware that winning this series will only help them inch closer to qualifying for the 2025 World Test Championship final. After suffering a humiliating home Test series to New Zealand by 3-0, the Men in Blue will aim to make a brilliant comeback against Australia in one of their toughest Test series till now.

At the same time, the Pat Cummins-led side will aim to take revenge after losing two consecutive Test series in their backyard and four in total.
