IND vs AUS 5th Test: The Australian cricket team chose to end their historic day in Sydney by posing with all the big titles that they have won in the longest format on Sunday. Australia thrashed India by six wickets in Sydney and won the series by 3-1.

The Australian bowlers played a huge role in this win and the batters didn't have any problems chasing down the below-par target of 162 runs as the Pat Cummins-led side has now won all the big Test series. They had retained the Ashes and won the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and the 2023 WTC final. They were seen posing with all the big three titles after winning the fifth and the last Test match in Sydney in their dressing room and the image was posted by Cricket Australia on their official X account.

Consistency is the key

During the post-match press conference, Australia skipper Pat Cummins was asked about this brilliant milestone of winning all the major bilateral Test series, and to which Cummins reckoned that this was their aim all along. He admitted that Test cricket did challenge him as a captain and for that you need a brilliant squad and support.

Cummins also said that his team's consistency has helped them become so successful.

"I didn't know that we'd won kind of everything until half an hour ago but that's always the aim. One of the things I love most about test cricket is it challenges you in so many different ways. You need more than 11 players, you need an amazing squad, and you need amazing support staff to be able to win everywhere in the world. So I think that consistency over a few years to do that with a very similar squad has been massive", Cummins told reporters in the post-match press conference.

The Pat Cummins-led side will lock horns with Sri Lanka for a two-match Test series later this month, even though they have qualified for the WTC summit clash. They will face South Africa at Lords in the WTC final in June.
