Buchi Babu Invitational Tournament 2024: India's wicketkeeper batter Ishan Kishan was seen bowling in a match against Hyderabad in the ongoing Buchi Babu Invitational Tournament 2024. The video of him bowling went viral on social media, and he has followed the bowling trend ever since Gautam Gambhir became the new head coach of the Indian men's cricket team.
He bowled just two overs in the match conceded just five runs and didn't take any wicket. Kishan had a dismal run with the bat as he scored just one run during the first innings. He again failed to fire in the second innings for Jharkhand as he scored five runs off 22 balls.

Talking about the match, Jharkhand was skittled out for 178 runs, where Sharandeep Singh was the highest run-scorer as he had scored 78 runs off 151 balls. Tanay Thyagrajan starred with the ball for Hyderabad as he registered figures of 5/47. While chasing, Hyderabad scored 293 runs during the first innings on the back of brilliant fifties from Rahul Singh (56) and CV Milind (58).
Vikas Singh (3/36) and Manishi (3/47) took three wickets apiece. Jharkhand were then skittled out for 140 runs during their second innings, where Kumar Suraj was the highest run-getter as he scored 60 runs off 102 balls. Rohit Rayudu (3/19) and Tanay Thyagrajan (2.31) were the pick among the bowlers for Hyderabad as they led the team across the line.
Ishan Kishan scored a hundred against Madhya Pradesh
During the fourth innings, Hyderabad chased the target quite comprehensively after losing just one wicket and thus won the match by nine wickets. At the same time, Kishan smashed an 86-ball century in the match against Madhya Pradesh in the ongoing tournament. He had scored 114 runs off 107 balls, in which he had smashed five fours and ten sixes.
He then scored an unbeaten knock of 41 runs in the second innings and helped his team chase the target of 175 runs during the fourth innings and thus Jharkhand won the match by two wickets.
