The International Cricket Council (ICC) formally notified the PCB that India will not travel to Pakistan for the 2025 Champions Trophy, casting doubts on the tournament's viability.

In the video, Suryakumar can be heard replying that the decision is not in their hands.
"Arrey bhaiya, hamare hath mein thodi hai (Brother, it is not in our hands)," Suryakumar said.
Meanwhile, talking about India's T20I series against South Africa the series is tied at 1-1. In the opening match, India clinched a 61-run victory in Durban and however, the Proteas made a string comeback in the second game wrapping up the three wickets victory in Gqeberha, ending India's winning streak in the format at 11.
Pakistan and India on Champions Trophy 2025
PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi has made it clear that Pakistan will not agree to the hybrid model proposed for the 2025 Champions Trophy.
The PCB on Sunday confirmed that it received an email from the ICC that India refused to travel to the neighbouring country for marquee tournament.
“Unless the PCB decides to pull out of hosting the Champions Trophy the current plan is to hold India's matches in UAE and the final in Dubai,” a source was quoted by PTI as saying on Monday.
“The Indian Cricket Board has told the ICC that a Hybrid Model is acceptable to them only if the final is held in Dubai and not in Pakistan,” the source added.
