India's record in ICC Champions Trophy: India are set to open their campaign in the ongoing Champions Trophy 2025 as they face Bangladesh in their first match at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Thursday, February 20.

The tournament kicked off in Pakistan on Wednesday with New Zealand beating the hosts at the National Stadium in Karachi by 60 runs.

While the Pakistan Cricket Board are the dedicated hosts for the tournament, India are slated to play all of their matches in Dubai as per the hybrid model.

The Men in Blue will be heading into the tournament with remarkable confidence as they recently whitewashed England 3-0 at home with key players like skipper Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer getting runs while Harshit Rana, Ravindra Jadeja and other impressed with the ball.

This will be the second match in Group A. Bangladesh are being captained by Najmul Hossain Shanto as they will be looking for the best possible start in the tournament.

India are the former champions, having lifted the title way back in 2013 with a victory over hosts England in the final. They made it to the final in the tournament's previous edition as well but lost the title to arch-rivals Pakistan.
