Champions Trophy 2025: The ICC revealed on Sunday that the extra tickets for all the India matches and the first semifinal would be going on sale. These extra tickets will be going live at 1:30 p.m. IST.
The Rohit Sharma-led side would be playing their group stage matches in Dubai, where they will face Bangladesh in their tournament opener on February 20. And just three days after that, they will lock horns with arch-nemesis Pakistan in the much-awaited clash and will then face New Zealand in their last group stage match on 2nd March. The first semi-final will also be held in Dubai on March 4.
"Tickets will be available for India's opening group match with Bangladesh on February 20, while there will also be tickets available for their games against arch-rival Pakistan (February 23) and New Zealand (March 2) at the eight-team tournament."
"There will also be limited tickets available for semi-final 1 that will take place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday, March 4," the statement released by the ICC said.
As per the media release, the tickets for the summit clash would go on sale after the first semifinal. If the Men in Blue does qualify for the first semifinal and wins it, then the final will be held in Dubai.
Indian team arrives in Dubai for Champions Trophy
The Rohit Sharma-led side landed in Dubai on Saturday, for the upcoming mega-event. The first batch of players took off from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Airport in Mumbai and that included players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
They landed in Dubai after a three-hour long flight and also received a rousing reception. They won't be featuring in any warmup match and are heading into this mega-event on the back of winning the three-match ODI series against England by 3-0.
