Champions Trophy 2025: The Indian cricket team launched its new jersey, which will be carried into the forthcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025. With captain Rohit Sharma leading the charge, Ravindra Jadeja, Hardik Pandya, and Arshdeep Singh present the new jersey, striking a pose on the camera in the new look.
The unveiling of the Indian cricket team's jersey for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 stirred much interest, but one particular detail caught everyone off-guard. What would stand out was the unexpected presence of the host nation's name, "Pakistan," inscribed on the jersey; it became the talk of the town.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) presented Indian cricketers with ICC awards and Team of the Year caps, right before the much-awaited Champions Trophy 2025.
The ICC went on social media to publish pictures of the Indian players receiving their honours.
The photos showcased the Indian players dressed in their new jerseys for the Champions Trophy 2025, which featured the tournament's logo and notably, the name of the host nation, Pakistan, prominently displayed on the attire.
Looking good 😎

The jersey of the Indian team in the Champions Trophy 2025 has "Pakistan" printed on it for the first time in recent years. This is unlike the Asia Cup 2023, where all teams take part in Pakistan but do not display the host nation's name on their jerseys.
Meanwhile, pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah was ruled out of the event due to lower back injury, leaving the task of shouldering the fast-bowling responsibility on Arshdeep Singh, Harshit Rana and Mohammed Shami, with Pandya being the fourth option.
Some Peoples Were Speculating That Pakistan's Name will Not be on India's Jersey?

Pakistan is the host nation of the tournament, but India will be playing all their matches in Dubai as per the hybrid model agreed by the concerned stakeholders.
The first semifinal will be played in Dubai on March 4, and the final, if India qualify for it, will also take place in Dubai on March 9.
