Coldplay's Chris Martin chose to give his fans a surprise at his concert in Navi Mumbai as he was seen giving a shoutout to India's star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah. He was singing one of his popular songs 'A Sky Full of Stars' on Saturday and the fans had a wonderful experience.

Halfway through the song, Martin informed the fans that they would have to finish the show quickly as Bumrah would be playing cricket with him backstage. The Coldplay was also then seen joking that the fast bowler would be bowling at him.

"Hold on, we have to finish the show because Jasprit Bumrah wants to come and play backstage. He (Bumrah) says he needs to bowl at me now" Martin was heard as saying on the mic.

After hearing Bumrah's name the fans got excited as they thought that he would surprise them by could but that didn't happen.

The Coldplay concert which was held in Mumbai became quite successful as Chris Martin caught the fan's attention and was even seen talking to them in Hindi. And after he gave a shoutout to Bumrah the fans got even more excited.

Bumrah is set for a Champions Trophy assignment

Although Bumrah didn't attend the Coldplay concert, he was included in India's Champions Trophy squad. He took 32 wickets during the recently concluded five-match Test series against Australia and will spearhead India's bowling attack in the mega-event.

However, he sustained a back spasm during the fifth and last Test match and is currently recovering. The BCCI will be keeping a close watch on his recovery as they want him to be fully fit for the mega-event.
