List of Double Centuries in ODI Cricket: Scoring double centuries in the ODI format is heading towards a norm as we the frequency of the double hundred scorers is increasing with every passing year.

Till date, 12 double hundred scorers have been witnessed in the ODI cricket (both men's and women's cricket) with Sri Lanka's Pathum Nissanka being the most recent player to achieve the feat.

Nissanka brought up his double hundred in the first ODI match between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan in Pallekele on Friday, February 9.

He became the 10th overall, ninth men's player, and the first-ever Sri Lankan to score a double century in the ODI format.

While Belinda Clark, the former Australian women's player, was the first-ever cricketer to smash a double hundred, legendary batter Sachin Tendulkar became the first player to hit 200 in men's ODI cricket.

A total of 14 double centuries have been scored in the ODI format so far with two being scored in women's cricket.

Rohit Sharma remains the only cricketer to have hit multiple ODI double hundreds, having reached the mark in 2013, 2014, and 2017.

Rohit Sharma has the highest individual ODI score to his name, having scored 264 runs against Sri Lanka which he scored at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata in 2014.

Ishan Kishan holds the record of scoring the fastest ODI double hundred as he took just 126 balls to reach the milestone against Bangladesh in Chattogram in 2022.
