CSK vs DC IPL 2025: DC star opener KL Rahul scored 76 runs off 49 balls as he had smashed CSK pacer Mukesh Chaudhary for a huge six after he had bowled a full toss but Rahul had mistimed the shot and it went up in the air. Mukesh could have taken an easy catch but he failed to do so and thus dropped a sitter.

When Mukesh helped Rahul get a lifeline, Sakshi Dhoni, who is MS Dhoni's wife's reaction went viral and the video of that incident too went viral.

Despite that, KL Rahul couldn't take advantage of the lifeline and was dismissed after scoring 77 runs off just 51 balls. MS Dhoni took the catch on the second ball of the last over, which was bowled by Matheesha Pathirana.

In his knock, Rahul had hit six fours and three sixes and helped the visitors post a respectable target of 183 runs.

Besides Rahul, Abhishek Porel also made a significant contribution as he scored 33 runs off 20 balls whereas Tristan Stubbs scored an unbeaten knock of 24 runs off 12 balls.

As far as the hosts are concerned, pacer Khaleel Ahmed was the pick among the bowlers as he registered figures of 2/25 in the four overs that he bowled whereas Noor Ahmed, Ravindra Jadeja, and Matheesha Pathirana took one wicket apiece.
