CSK vs RCB Head-To-Head: Chennai Super Kings are set to host Royal Challengers Bengaluru in match 8 of the ongoing IPL 2025 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Friday, March 28.

Both CSK and RCB kicked off their respective campaigns in the IPL 2025 in the best possible way. They will be heading into the much-awaited clash on the back of wins in their respective previous matches. CSK defeated their arch-rivals, Mumbai Indians, by 4 wickets at home, whereas RCB got the better of Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens in the tournament opener.

RCB will be looking to end their 17-year-long wait for an IPL win at Chepauk. They last defeated CSK in their own backyard in the inaugural edition of the tournament in 2008.

CSK, which is the most successful team in IPL history with five titles, will be aiming to avenge their defeat from the previous season, when RCB eliminated them from the group stage.

CSK will be hoping for impactful efforts once again from their trio of Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin and Noor Ahmad on the spin-friendly track at the iconic venue. For RCB, all eyes will once again be on Virat Kohli, who is the all-time leading run-scorer in the tournament's history.

Virat played an incredible knock of unbeaten 59 runs, helping his side get over the line in the run chase against KKR.
