Delhi Capitals Revised IPL 2025 Schedule: The Delhi Capitals will play their remaining matches against Gujarat Titans, Mumbai Indians Punjab Kings in the 2025 season of the IPL, after the resumption was announced on Monday. Notably, the 2025 edition of the league was suspended for a brief period of time due to armed conflict between India and Pakistan. The contest between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals at Dharamshala had to be called off midgame due to security reasons.
Interestingly, DC are eyeing their first ever IPL title as they are placed fifth in the league stage standings with 13 points from 11 games on the back of 6 wins and 4 defeats. However, they are just one point away from reaching the top-four spot yet again.
Check out DC's revised schedule here:
DATE | DAY | TEAM 1 | TEAM 2 | VENUE | TIME (IST) |
May 18 | Sunday | Delhi Capitals | Gujarat Titans | Delhi | 7:30 PM |
May 21 | Wednesday | Mumbai Indians | Delhi Capitals | Mumbai | 7:30 PM |
May 24 | Saturday | Punjab Kings | Delhi Capitals | Jaipur | 7:30 PM |
The six venues for league matches as per the revised schedule will be: Bengaluru, Jaipur, Delhi, Lucknow, Ahmedabad and Mumbai.
The IPL was halted on May 8 after the match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals was called off after Pakistan tried to invade Indian air space near Chandigarh, forcing a blackout in the stadium.
However the board officials decided for a quick resumption of the league, following India and Pakistan agreeing a ceasefire in their border conflict.
"BCCI is pleased to announce the resumption of the TATA IPL 2025. After extensive consultations with government and security agencies, and with all the key stakeholders, the Board has decided to proceed with the remainder of the season," the board said in a statement.
