JE Sports Desk: Mark Wood bowled brilliantly on his return to England's Test side as he was included in the team for the third Ashes Test against Australia at Headingley on Thursday.
It took only 11.4 overs for Wood to take a five-wicket haul, the fourth of his Test career as he ripped through the Aussie batting lineup.
However, the most talked about dismissal was that of Usman Khawaja who fell prey to Wood's fiery pace. The left-handed batter on 13, tried to play an attacking shot but completely missed out on the 94.6mph (152 kph) delivery as he was beaten by the fiery pace.
It's full and straight and far too quick for Usman Khawaja ๐ช๏ธ

The 33-year-old also bowled the fastest over ever at Headingley during Australia's first innings.
He bowled the first ball of his spell at 91 mph which continued to rise in the remaining five balls. He bowled the second and the third balls at 93 mph and 95 mph respectively. The pacer continued the heat bowling his last three balls at 93 mph, 94 mph, and 93 mph to complete the over.

The pace bowler gave the Aussies no chance to take advantage of crucial runs from the lower order as he dismissed Alex Care (8), Mitchell Starc (2), Pat Cummins (0), and Todd Murphy (13) to complete his five-for.
Wood's inclusion of the three changes England made heading into the third Test as he took no time to prove why he was picked.

Earlier, Ben Stokes decided to bowl first after winning the toss as the hosts restricted Australia to 263/10 despite Mitchell Marsh's (118) remarkable knock who smashed the third century of his Test career, his first away from home.
"We are gonna have a bowl. We are happy going either way. It looks like a very good cricket wicket. Aiming to get something with the ball early on. The injury that happened to Popey and a few thought processes which went into it - one of which was what team we go for if I don't bowl. Position Brooky was in the squad last summer, he is a fantastic player and he always puts his chin up for any situation and the situation presented itself. Also, we want to keep Rooty at 4. Mo is confident and we are confident. He is a match-winner and on his day he can turn the game in our favor. It's an amazing place to play cricket, especially the Western Terrace, we love playing here and the Yorkshire faithful love watching Jonny and Rooty," Stokes said at the toss.
