England vs Australia 4th ODI: Liam Livingstone looked in sublime touch with the bat during the fourth ODI match between England and Australia at Lord's on Friday.

Livingstone smashed Australia's Mitchell Starc for 28 runs in an over, helping his side to post a mammoth total of 312/5 in their 39 overs.

The star all-rounder remained unbeaten after playing a fiery cameo of 62 runs in just 27 balls on the back of three fours and seven sixes.

A jaw-dropping moment came in the final over of England's innings when Livingstone hit Starc for four sixes and a boundary.

Starc went on to create an unwanted record as he bowled the most expensive by an Australian bowler in men’s ODIs.

Previously, Simon Davis, Craig McDermott, Xavier Doherty, Adam Zampa and Cameroon Green had conceded 26 runs in an over each in ODIs.

The left-arm pacer finished with expensive bowling figures of 0/70 in the eight overs he bowled.

Starc has 241 wickets to his name in 124 ODI matches he has played and is the second leading wicket-taker in the format among active bowlers.

Livingstone also reached the 50-run mark in 25 balls to register the fastest fifty in ODI history at Lord's.

He also registered the record for most sixes in an innings at Lord's in ODIs record with seven maximums to his name.

Despite, losing 11 overs to rain, the Three Lions registered their highest-ever ODI team total against Australia at Lord's. England also broke the record for the most sixes in an innings at Lord's in ODIs with 12 sixes.

For England, Ben Duckett (63), and skipper Harry Brook (87) also smashed half-centuries.

Australia, on the other hand, were bowled out for just 126 runs in 24.4 overs to allow England to bounce back and level the series 2-2. 

The visitors won the first two matches before England closed the gap with victories in the third and the fourth ODIs. The fifth and final match of the series is scheduled to be played in Bristol on Sunday.
