New Zealand started the series on a high as they defeated England by eight wickets and with 26 balls to spare in the opening ODI. Daryl Mitchell is the leading run-scorer with 175 runs in the series as he scored a century in the first ODI and a half-century in the second match.

England batter Liam Livingstone is the second-highest run-getter in the series with 147 runs followed by Devon Conway's 125 runs.

David Willey and Tim Southee are the leading wicket-taker in the series as they both bagged four wickets each.
