ENG vs WI 2nd T20I Live Streaming: England will lock horns with West Indies for the second T20I in Bristol on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. IST. Ex-skipper Jos Buttler scored a match-winning knock of 96 runs off 59 balls and Liam Dawson took a four-wicket haul ever since he made a comeback to the national side and helped the hosts defeat West Indies by 21 runs during the 1st T20I in Durham.
England began their white-ball era under Harry Brook's captaincy on a high as they defeated the same opponent by 3-0 during the recently concluded ODI series and they maintained their winning streak in T20Is as well by posting a respectable target of 188 runs.
The visitors could score just 167 runs as Romario Shepherd was caught on the last ball.
Buttler came into bat at No.3 position as the hosts were reeling at 16/1 after Ben Duckett fell cheaply and Buttler scored his fifty off just 25 balls during the eighth over.
He had smacked three sixes and one four on the first four balls of Alzarri Joseph's over.
He had resigned as England's white-ball skipper earlier this year after England suffered a group stage exit during the Champions Trophy this year and now it looks like a huge burden has been taken off his shoulders as he smashed six fours and four sixes in his brilliant innings.
And when he was just four runs short of his well-deserved hundred, he mistimed the shot and Alzarri Joseph dismissed him during the 19th over.
It was their highest T20I individual score in their backyard.
At the same time, the visitors were tottering at 33/2 in 5.2 overs as Buttler dismissed Johnson Charles after scoring just 18 runs and then Ben Duckett took Shai Hope's catch, who had scored just three runs in Matthew Potts' over.
