ENG vs PAK T20 World Cup 2026 Super 8s: Pakistan lost to England by two wickets during their second Super 8s match of the ongoing mega event on Tuesday. The match was being held at the Pallekele International cricket stadium, where the Men in Green posted a respectable target of 164 runs. England chased this target in 19.1 overs. The former champions suffered an early blow after opener Phil Salt was dismissed on the first ball while chasing, but skipper Harry Brook's brilliant hundred off 51 balls helped them chase the target.

With this win, the Harry Brook-led side became the first team to reach the semifinals of the ongoing mega event. They have scored 4 points after winning both their Super 8 matches so far.

Even though they might have lost the match against England, the Salman Agha-led side is still in contention for the race to the semifinal.
