ICC T20 World Cup 2024 England Schedule: England will be heading into the T20 World Cup 2024 as defending champions, having won the title in the tournament's previous edition in 2022.

Jos Buttler will be leading the side in the marquee tournament which kicks off on June 2 in the West Indies and the USA.

The defending champions are one of the favourites to list the title considering the form of some of their players and the style of cricket they have been playing for the past few years across formats.

England had a horrible campaign in the ODI World Cup in India last year but will be looking to make it count in the T20I format and win their third T20 WC title.

They are the most successful team in the T20 World Cup history alongside West Indies, having won the competition twice.

They clinched their first T20 WC trophy in 2010 and then repeated the triumph in 2022 in Australia.

The Jos Buttler-led side is placed in Group B alongside Australia, Namibia, Oman and Scotland

The most notable inclusion in England's squad is the comeback of star pacer Jofra Archer who makes his return to the side after a long while, having remained on the sidelines due to injury.

He will have the support of Mark Wood, Reece Topley, and Chris Jordan in the pace department whereas the spin attack features Moeen Ali, Tom Hartley, Liam Livingstone and Adil Rashid.

Apart from skipper Buttler, Will Jacks, Phil Salt, Ben Duckett and Jonny Bairstow are among the top-order contenders.

England will kick off their campaign with the match against Scotland at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on Tuesday, June 4.

They have had promising preparations for the all-important tournament, having recently defeated Pakistan in the four-match T20I series at home.
