Defending champions Gujarat Titans had an extraordinary season in their inaugural appearance. Hardik Pandya-led side won the title by defeating Rajasthan Royals in the summit clash.
Gujarat Titans filled the placer of Lockie Ferguson by signing youngster Shivam Mavi for Rs 6 Cr while they also purchase Ireland batter Joshua Little for Rs 4.4 Cr, who is set to become the first Irish player in the IPL.
Their other signings include New Zealand captain Kane Williamson for Rs 2 Cr, Mohit Sharma (Rs 50 lakh), Urvil Patel (Rs 20 lakh), KS Bharat (Rs 1.2 crore) and Odean Smith (Rs 50 lakh).
