New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: India all-rounder Hardik Pandya on Wednesday announced his engagement to Serbian actress Natasa Stankovic by sharing a picture with her on social media. As B-Town celebs and stars from sports fraternity celebrated the new year with their girlfriends and wives, Pandya took the opportunity of New Year, to share a picture with his lady love and wrote, "Mai tera, Tu meri jaane, saara Hindustan. 01.01.2020 #engaged".

In the video, he can be seen proposing the serbian actress with sea in the background to which Natasa says yes.

Replying to the picture, his teammate Yuzvendra Chahal dropped love emojis while actor Arjun Kapoor who celebrated the new year with Malaika dropped, "Bahot hard." Among other celebs, Team India opener KL Rahul dropped ''fire'' emojis.

Among other cricketers, team India opener KL Rahul had shared a picture with Suniel Shetty's daughter and actress Athiya last month that has started the rumours that he is dating the actress.

On the professional front, the cricketer is currently recovering from a back injury which forced him to miss out the T20I and ODI series at home against West Indies and Bangladesh. He will also miss the upcoming home series against Sri Lanka and Australia but the cricket governing body BCCI has named him in India A squad for New Zealand tour at the end of this month.

The 26-year-old had last appeared in a T20I match against South Africa in September 2019. After the conclusion of the series, Hardik had undergone a surgery in London to treat his lower back in October.   

India would want him to get him fit as soon as possible as India is set to tour NZ, England, South Africa, and Australia this year.
