India all-rounder Hardik Pandya shared the intense workout video for the first time since his right ankle injury ruled him out of the ODI World Cup in October last year. He suffered a blow on his ankle while stopping the ball on his own bowling against Bangladesh in the initial stage of the tournament.
Pandya has been out of action for India since sustaining an ankle injury and has missed home T20Is against Australia and also the South Africa tour.
The 30-year-old took to Instagram to give an update on his injury and shared a video of an intense workout with caption, 'Progress, everyday.' In the video, Pandya can be seen training his legs, back and shoulders.

Reacting to the video, the netizens expected that Pandya is gearing up for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), likely to commence on March 22.
Before the IPL auction, Gujarat Titans traded their title-winning captain Hardik Pandya to Mumbai Indians in an unprecedented move. He replaced Rohit Sharma as captain at his former franchise Mumbai Indians.
Rohit led Mumbai Indians to five IPL titles under his captaincy after replacing legendary Ricky Ponting in the role in 2013.

For Gujarat Titans, Pandya scored 833 runs including six half-centuries in 31 matches. He guided the Ahmedabad-based franchise to their first title in the debut season in 2022. He also bagged 11 wickets for the side during his two seasons for them.
Gujarat finished as runners-up in the last edition of IPL after losing to MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the final.
As per reports, Pandya is likely to miss the upcoming home T20I series against Afghanistan but he is expected to be available for the IPL. India are scheduled to host Afghanistan for three T20Is from January 11 to 17, the final 20-over series before the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 in June in the West Indies and the USA.
