With Amol Muzumdar takes over the reigns as head coach of the women's cricket team, a monumental challenge awaits as England and Australia will tour India for full-fledged tours are set take place as per report.
As per a report in Cricbuzz, "England and Australian women's teams will tour India consecutively, engaging in four and seven matches, respectively, and both series will be of multi-format nature."
The action-packed fixtures will all unfold in the vibrant city of Mumbai, with the iconic Wankhede Stadium and the impressive DY Patil Stadium serving as the venues for these exciting encounters.
England's women's team is set to kick off the cricketing extravaganza with three T20Is, followed by a Test match. Meanwhile, the Australian women's team will engage in a Test, three ODIs, and three T20Is, making for a comprehensive series that promises to captivate cricket enthusiasts worldwide.
The marathon of cricketing battles is set to span over approximately two months, commencing in the last week of November and culminating in the second week of January. Prior to these high-stakes international matches, Mumbai will also play host to an 'A' series between India A and England A women's teams, adding further excitement to the cricketing calendar.

Tentatively, the three T20Is featuring England will light up the DY Patil Stadium on December 6, 9, and 10, followed by the much-anticipated Test from December 13 to 17 at the iconic Wankhede Stadium.
The Australian team will take center stage in Mumbai from mid-December, commencing their campaign with a Test match starting on December 21. Following the Test, fans can look forward to a series of three ODIs on December 28, 30, and January 2, with the T20Is set to enthrall the crowd on January 5, 7, and 9. All of Australia's matches will unfold at the Wankhede Stadium.
While the ECB's plans have yet to be confirmed, CA officials have given their nod to the tour and the selected venues, setting the stage for an electrifying season of women's international cricket in Mumbai.
