IND vs PAK ICC Champions Trophy 2025: Pakistan's star opener Imam-ul-Haq had a disappointing outing with the bat as he got out after scoring just 10 runs off 26 balls during the high-octane clash against arch-rivals India. Imam became the victim of a direct throw by India's star all-rounder Axar Patel. He began taking the single slowly as he smashed the ball directly towards Axar, who was standing at mid-on. He was seen running casually towards the non-striker's end as Axar's direct throw rattled the stumps.

Although the Pakistan opener did dove in late he couldn't reach the crease on time. After Imam's dismissal, hilarious memes went viral on social media as the fans compared him to his uncle Inzamam, who too was involved in lots of run-outs during his playing days.

Imam replaced Fakhar Zaman in Pakistan's playing XI, who has been ruled out from the ongoing mega-event owing to an injury during the tournament opener against New Zealand.

Pakistan had won the toss and chose to bat first. "Will bat first, looks like a good surface. Want to put up a good target. Every match is important in ICC events, so we will keep things normal. The boys are familiar with these conditions, we have done well here and we want to do our best today. We lost our last game, but it is past for us now. One change - Fakhar is out, Imam is in" Mohammed Rizwan said at the time of the toss.

But, Imam had a woeful time during the high-octane clash against arch-nemesis India.
