ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Points Table: South Africa defeated England by 7 wickets in the match 11 of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 at the National Stadium in Karachi on Saturday, March 1.

This was South Africa's second win in the tournament as they became the fourth and final side to make it to the semifinal. They ended up topping the group B with five points under their belt.

England, who earlier were eliminated from the tournament, ended their campaign with a third successive defeat. This was also Jos Buttler's last match as England's white-ball captain, having stepped down from the role on the eve of the match.

South Africa chased down the 180-run target in 29.1 overs with David Miller smashing a six off Liam Livingstone to take his team over the line. Rassie van der Dussen was the top run-getter for the Proteas as he played an unbeaten knock of 72 runs on the back of six fours and three sixes.

Heinrich Klaasen also played a crucial knock of 64 runs with the help of 11 fours. He stitched a 127-run partnership with Van der Dussen for the third wicket.

Earlier, South Africa bowled England out for 179 runs on the back of three wickets each for Marco Jansen and Wiaan Mulder whereas Keshav Maharaj found two scalps as well.
