ICC T20 Rankings: Indian opener Abhishek Sharma, spinner Varun Chakravarthy, and all-rounder Hardik Pandya maintained their top spot in the ICC T20 rankings update released by ICC (International Cricket Council) on Wednesday. Chakravarthy, who recently raced to the top last week, further gained 14 rating points, bringing his total to 747 points.
Pandya continues to lead the all-rounder's rankings and has also improved his bowling ranking, climbing six places to 60.
Among the batters, India's new blue-eyed boy Abhishek has gained significant points to maintain his position as the top-ranked T20I batter. Interestingly, Abhishek has been in stellar form in the Asia Cup, scoring a brisk 38 against Oman in India's final group match before hitting a match-winning 74 to overcome Pakistan's total of 171 on Sunday.

Middle-order batter Tilak Varma moved up a rung to number three who helped finish the chase against Pakistan with an electric 30 not out off 19,
Skipper Suryakumar Yadav also gained a place to move within touching distance of the top five.
On the other hand, Pakistan's Abrar Ahmed, after an 11-place rise last week, has achieved another significant ascent, this time moving up 12 spots.
After a brief decline in performance that resulted in a four-position drop last week, Bangladesh's veteran T20I pacer Mustafizur Rahman has returned to the top 10 with a six-place increase. The left-arm pacer has secured six wickets at an average of eight across his last two matches in the tournament.
Sahibzada Farhan, who smashed a 58 off 45 to get Pakistan going in the same game, jumped 31 spots to reach 24th place.

Hussain Talat who guided Pakistan to a win against Sri Lanka with a composed innings, jumped an astronomical 1474 spots to become the joint 234th placed in the men's T20I batter rankings.
Another massive gainer was Saif Hassan, whose 61 had helped Bangladesh get to a winning start in Super Fours at Asia Cup. The batter gained 133 places to reach the 81st ranking in the batting charts.
