India recently won an amazing 4-1 series against Zimbabwe, and two of their greatest performers have made notable moves on the latest T20I batters list.
Jaiswal climbed four spots to reach the 6th position in the T20I ranking with 743 points while Gill also rose the batting charts, moving up a whopping 36 places to 37th as a result on the back of his 170 runs from five innings.
Jaiswal was the big winner with 141 runs in the series, moving him up four spots to sixth overall behind No.1 ranked hitter Travis Head and second-placed Suryakumar Yadav. Despite only playing three games Jaiswal was the series' second-highest run-scorer, with 141 runs at a stunning average of 70.50 and a strike rate of 165.88.
He won the Player of the Match title after scoring a quick 36 in the third innings and a spectacular 93* in the fourth. His performances have propelled him up four places to sixth in the ICC rankings for men's T201 batters, with 743 rating points.
Gill is now India's fourth-highest T20I player, passing recently retired duo Rohit Sharma (42nd) and Virat Kohli (51st) and trailing only Suryakumar (second), Jaiswal (sixth), and Ruturaj Gaikwad (eighth).
Gill and Jaiswal made the most of their opportunity, emerging as one of the tournament's leading run scorers. Gill finished the series as the highest run-scorer, scoring 170 runs in five matches at a strike rate of 125.93 and an average of 42.50.
Meanwhile, Washington Sunder of India rose 36 places to 46th, and Mukesh Kumar climbed 21 places to 73rd. Adil Rashid of England remained the world's top T20I bowler. Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza moved up one spot to third position in the all-rounders rankings after impressive performances with both the bat and the ball against India.
There was also some change in the new Test rankings, with a number of England players rising to the top after easily defeating the West Indies at Lord's.
Harry Brook moves up three places to seventh behind No.1 ranked Kiwi Kane Williamson, while top-order hitters Zak Crawley (up three slots to 13th) and Ollie Pope (up three places to 29th) gain ground after strong performances in the first Test against West Indies.
