ICC Test Championship 2025-27 Points Table: Indian opener KL Rahul banked on his rich form to strike an unbeaten half-century to help India defeat the West Indies by seven wickets in the second Test on the fifth and final day to complete a clean sweep of the two-match series here at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Tuesday.
KL Rahul, who came out as the overnight batter for his team along with Sai Sudharsan, stayed unbeaten to finish the chase in 35.2 overs. Rahul struck 58 not out off 108 balls and shared a 79-run second-wicket partnership with Sai Sudharsan (39 off 76 balls).
West Indies manage to get wickets in the first session, getting rid of Sai and Shubman Gill (13 off 15 balls).
After seven matches, with four wins, two defeats, and a solitary draw, India sits in third place with 52 points and a points percentage of 61.90 per cent.

With a flawless record, Australia continue to reign supreme at the top with three wins in as many games and a points percentage of 100.00 per cent. Sri Lanka follows in second position, marginally ahead of India with a points percentage of 66.67 per cent. Meanwhile, the West Indies remain in sixth position after losing five successive Tests.

This is the first Test in India against the West Indies to have gone into the fifth day since the Mumbai match in 2011.

For Indian batters, there were five centuries and a near-90 among the top six across two matches.
"I am getting used to managing this side. Sometimes you have to take bold decisions," said a beaming Gill at the presentation ceremony.
