India Women's National Cricket Team vs West Indies Women Match Scorecard: India batter Harleen Deol showcased her growing maturity with a remarkable maiden century, leading India to a commanding 115-run victory over the West Indies in the second Women's ODI on Saturday. The win secured an unassailable 2-0 lead for India in the three-match series.

Deol's composed knock of 115 runs off 103 balls, including 16 boundaries, formed the backbone of India's innings, which saw them post a record-equalling 358 for five, their highest ODI total and the highest against the West Indies. She was supported by crucial contributions from Pratika Rawal (76 off 86 balls, 10x4, 1x6), Smriti Mandhana (53 off 47 balls, 7x4, 2x6), and Jemimah Rodrigues (52 off 36 balls, 6x4, 1x6).

Chasing a daunting target of 359, the West Indies were dismissed for 243 runs, despite skipper Hayley Matthews delivering an impressive century (106 off 109 balls, 13x4). Matthews' partnership of 112 runs with Shemaine Campbelle (38) for the fifth wicket offered some resistance, but the Indian bowlers struck regularly to seal the victory. Matthews, who reached her seventh ODI hundred in 99 balls, eventually fell to off-spinner Rawal.

India's bowlers were instrumental in defending the total, with Priya Mishra (3/49) leading the charge by skillfully varying her leg-breaks and googlies. Titas Sadhu (2/42) and Deepti Sharma (2/40) also delivered stellar performances, consistently attacking the stumps on a slightly spongy wicket.

Earlier, Deol's innings highlighted her evolution as a batter, transitioning from being predominantly off-side-focused to a versatile all-field player. Her ability to find angles and gaps, exemplified by consecutive boundaries through fine leg and point off Deandra Dottin, was a testament to her growing skill set. Deol reached her century in style, striking a well-timed boundary off Shamilia Connell in 98 balls.

India's formidable total was also built on a strong foundation provided by Mandhana and Rawal, who added a brisk 110-run opening partnership in just 16.3 overs, marking their second consecutive 100-run stand in ODIs.
