India vs Australia 3rd Test: Jasprit Bumrah came up with yet another inspiring performance during the third Test between India and Australia at the Gabba in Brisbane on Sunday.
The second day of the Brisbane Test witnessed the bowling masterclass from Bumrah as he picked up a brilliant five-wicket haul and fought as a lone warrior for the visitors.
While Australia scored 405/7 in their first innings at Stumps on Day 2 on the back of centuries from Travis Head and Steve Smith, Bumrah ran out of support but put up his best effort.

This was Bumrah's 12th five-wicket haul in Test cricket and his 8th in SENA countries (South Africa, England, New Zealand and Australia). He has become the first Indian to so do.
Bumrah broke the record of legendary Kapil Dev, who is now second on the list with 7 fifers to his name.
He also went past Indian greats Zaheer Khan and Ishant Sharma, both of whom have 11 fifers to their names in the longest format of the game.

Bumrah first removed both the openers, dismissing Usman Khawaja (21) and Nathan McSweeney (9) cheaply before Smith and Head troubled the Indian team with a monumental partnership.
The duo stitched a 241-run stand for the fourth wicket with Head (152) smashing his second successive century of the series whereas Smith played a 101-run knock.
Bumrah dismissed both in quick succession and also dismissed Mitchell Marsh for 5 runs, completing his magnificent five-wicket haul.

Notably, the first hosts scored just 28 runs on the opening day of the match before the play was suspended due to rain.
Aiming to take a lead once again in the five-match series in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy, India opted to bowl first and came up with two changes in their lineup with Ravindra Jadeja and Akash Deep replacing Ravichandran Ashwin and Harshit Rana.
