Australia Men's Cricket Team vs India National Cricket Team Players: Australia won the toss and elected to bat first on boxing day in the fourth test between India and Australia at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground on Thursday. Pat Cummins, Australian captain, had no hesitation to bat first seeing the pitch.
Australia announced their playing XI a day before as 19-year-old Sam Konstas replaced Nathan McSweeney in the side. Additionally, Scott Boland has been roped in place of injured Josh Hazlewood.
India, on the other hand, have made a crucial change in their playing XI with Shubman Gill ruled out and Washington Sundar coming as an extra spin option. Also, captain Rohit Sharma is likely to bat at number.

Pat Cummins at the toss: "We gonna have a bat today. There's a bit of a grass like an old MCG wicket, looks nice and firm. Sam (Konstas) will open the batting and Scott also comes in for Hazlewood."
Rohit Sharma at the toss: "We would have batted as well, looks like a good wicket. The series is 1-1, a lot to play for, it gives us a perfect opportunity to show what we are as a team. Whatever situation lies in front of you, you have to fight. It's a new day and we are looking forward to it. We have one change - GIll misses out and Washington comes in.
