India vs Australia Final, World Cup 2023: India and Australia will face off in the final of the ODI World Cup 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, November 19.

While India have been the most dominant side in the tournament with 10 wins in 10 matches under their belt, Australia picked up remarkable momentum by winning eight successive matches to make it to their eighth World Cup final.

Rohit Sharma-led team has shown great consistency and has a chance to go undefeated in the tournament and claim their third World Cup title win.

India topped the standings by winning all nine matches in the league stage before they defeated New Zealand in the first semi-final by 70 runs at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

On the other hand, Australia were off to a disappointing start to their campaign as they lost their first two matches against India and South Africa.

They made a remarkable comeback by winning all of their remaining matches and qualifying for the semis where they defeated South Africa at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

Both teams have a commendable list of stars in their respective lineups who have been in sublime form in the tournament.

The likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and David Warner can go hard and put up effective performances to entertain the massive crowd at the Narendra Mod Stadium in the high-voltage final.

Let's take a look at a few players to watch out for in IND vs AUS Final, World Cup 2023:

Virat Kohli

India's star batter Virat Kohli has been in magnificent form in the tournament and is the leading run-scorer with 711 runs to his name in 10 matches at an average of 101.57.

He has three centuries and four fifties to his name including his 50th ODI ton which he smashed in the semi-final match against the Blackcaps.

As India aim to make it count in the golden opportunity to lift an ICC topy after 10 years, Virat Kohli could be the key with his effective batting effort in the all-important clash against his favorite opponents.

Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma has consistently provided India with a great start to the innings through his fiery and attacking approach upfront.

He has scored 550 runs in 10 matches at an average of 55 but has missed out on fifties and hundreds multiple times.

The Indian skipper will be looking to play a big knock on the biggest stage of them all and help his team lift the title.

Shreyas Iyer

Shreyas Iyer is the third top run-getter for India in the tournament with 526 runs to his name in 20 matches at an average of 75.14.

After a slow start to his campaign, Iyer picked up momentum brilliantly and smashed back-to-back hundreds in the last two matches.

India's middle order will be key in the final against Australia and Shreyas can lead the proceedings with his massive stroke play in the middle overs.

Mohammed Shami

Mohammed Shami has impressed everyone with his spectacular performances with the ball despite missing the early part of the tournament.

In just six matches he has played so far, Shami has taken 23 wickets at an average of 9.13 on the back of three five-wicket hauls.

Shami will be aiming to continue his promising form and put up yet another match-winning performance against the mighty Aussies in the all-important final.

David Warner

David Warner has always been the go-to person when it comes to expecting something big from a player on big occasions.

Warner has had a great tournament so far with the bat, having scored 528 runs in 10 matches at an average of 52.80, and is the leading run-getter for his team.

Warner will be the key to providing his team with an impressive start to put early pressure on the Indian bowlers.

Adam Zampa

Adam Zampa is chasing the race of leading wicket-taker as he stands second behind Shami with 22 wickets to his name in 10 matches at an average of 21.41.

Zampa can change things in the middle overs by making it a struggle for the Indian middle order.

He has lived up to his wicket-taking ability in the tournament during the middle overs and also has got the better of the likes of Virat Kohli on multiple occasions.

Mitchell Starc

Mitchell Starc might not have had a great tournament in terms of wickets tally but he can trouble the Indian top order a log early in the match.

Indian players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have had their issues against left-arm pacers over the years and will be against the same challenge in the final.

However, the duo has been brilliant against the left-arm pacers in the ongoing tournament and has scored loads of runs against them as well.

If Starc gets going, he can put up an effective performance and hurt the hosts with early strikes in the match.

Josh Hazlewood

Josh Hazlewood is the second-highest wicket-taker for Australia and has 14 wickets to his name in 10 matches at an average of 27.79.

Hazlewood can trouble the India batters early in the innings with the new ball and his ability to bowl consistently at the disciplinary line and lengths.

He made it a struggle for India with the bat during the earlier match between both teams as he took three wickets for just 38 runs including the wickets of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
