IND vs AUS ODI: Australian quick Mitchell Starc proved his worth with the new ball yet again as he bowled a stunning opening spell during the ongoing India vs Australia in the 1st ODI at the Optus Stadium in Perth. Australia captain Mitchell Marsh brought in Starc for an opening spell of five overs, where he gave away just 20 runs, picking up the talismanic Virat Kohli, who was making a return to international cricket.

Starc exploited the old habit of Kohli of 'fishing' outside the off-stump as he edged it to Cooper Connolly standing at backward point. Kohli got out on an 8-ball duck. However, what also caught fans attention was the speed gun which displayed one of Starc's deliveries at 176.5 Kmph. He bowled this delivery to former India captain Rohit Sharma.

IND vs AUS Reduced To 32 Overs Per Side

The first ODI between India and Australia was reduced to a 32-over-a-side game after the third rain interruption here on Sunday. KL Rahul (3) and Axar Patel (14) will resume the innings when the play begins.

Earlier, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma failed to fire on their return to international Cricket after seven months.
