India vs Australia, T20 World Cup 2024: Rohit Sharma came all guns blazing during India's T20 World Cup 2024 Super 8 match against Australia in St Lucia on Monday, June 24.
The Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium witnessed a Rohit Sharma masterclass as the Indian captain took on Mitchell Starc early in the innings.
Rohit smashed Starc for 29 runs in the over soon after Virat Kohli's dismissal for 0.
The instance took place in the third over of the innings bowled by Starc after India were put into bat first by Australia.
Starc, who made his comeback in the side after missing the Afghanistan game, was hit for four sixes and a four in the over by Rohit. The left-arm pacer bowled a wide in the over as well.

India lost an early wicket as Kohli was dismissed for 0 by Josh Hazlewood but the huge wicket couldn't keep Rohit on the backfoot as he started attacking the bowlers.
Australia brought back Starc for Ashton Agar as their only change in the all-important match whereas India fielded an unchanged side.
"We would have fielded first as well, looks a bit sticky. We wanted to chase. We know what exactly we are doing, will try to do our best. I hope it doesn't change much. The overhead conditions also matter in this part of the world. We have adapted well, hopefully another game where we put up a show. Every game matters in this tournament, nothing changes. We are playing the same team," Indian captain Rohit said at the toss.
