India vs Australia:  Australia and India are set to clash in the highly anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy later this year, with Team India seeking to defend their title and Aussies eager to reclaim it.

Australia's hard-hitting batter Travis Head has fired the first salvo, revealing that India is not his favourite opponent to play against, highlighting the intense rivalry and mutual respect between the two teams.

Head, who has established himself as a formidable force in both white-ball and red-ball cricket, will look to maintain his remarkable form against India. His outstanding performances in the 2023 World Test Championship Final and ODI World Cup Final were instrumental in Australia's victories, with Head scoring centuries in both matches to guide his team to two ICC titles.

"I don't feel like they're my favourite. I just feel like we play them enough, play them lots. And, I guess the last couple of years I've been in nice form. So yeah, being able to, to play well, it's always nice. It's a, I guess it's not hard to get up for the contest. It's hugely competitive. Yeah, it's easier to get up for the game," Head said on Star Sports.

"So I wouldn't say they're my favourite. They're extremely difficult but it's been nice to play well in a couple of games and looking forward to preparing well and being ready to go and let's look, hope hopefully I can, I can contribute to what's a successful summer for us," he added.
