India vs Australia, World Cup 2023 Final: Indian captain Rohit Sharma credited the role clarity for the team's magnificent run in the ODI World Cup 2023 ahead of the final match against Australia.
India and Australia will face off in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, November 19.
The Men in Blue have been the most consistent side in the tournament, having won 10 out of their 10 matches so far.
Rohit also mentioned that they had spent two years in building this team and the roles have been provided to every individual since he took over the captaincy of the team.

"We identified players a couple of years back and gave them role clarity. Role clarity has played a major role for us getting here," Sharma said in the pre-match conference.
Rohit, when asked about whether the current Indian bowling setup is their best ever in an ICC tournament, lauded the bowling unit which has been on fire in the tournament.
He credited the Jasprit Bumnrah-led attack for putting the opponent's batters under pressure throughout the tournament.
"The bowlers have been brilliant for us in this tournament. When we started off, we were chasing in 4-5 games, and restricting teams below 300 on Indian conditions was a great effort. It is not an easy job restricting batters in Indian conditions," Rohit said.
"In the second half of the tournament, when we were defending totals, we have done it quite clinically as well. All the three seamers what are their roles and what is expected off them," he further added.
Indian bowling has been the most successful in the tournament with Mohammed Shami leading the charge with the most wickets to his name. He has 23 wickets to his name in just 6 matches followed by Bumrah who has taken 18 wickets.
Siraj along with the spinners also contributed in crucial situations, making India the most in-form bowling lineup so far.

Shami didn't start the tournament as the regular in the playing XI but got to play after Hardik Pandya was ruled out due to an ankle injury.
"It was tough for Shami to not play the first half but he was supporting Siraj and the other bowlers. We had communication with him and he was working on the sidelines on his bowling," Sharma said.
