India vs Bangladesh 2nd Test: India put up a remarkable performance both with bat and ball on the fourth day of the second Test against Bangladesh in Kanpur on Monday.

Bangladesh were 26/2 in 11 overs at the end of the day's play and are still 26 runs behind. Ravichandran Ashwin picked up both the wickets, dismissing Zakir Hasan (10) and Hasan Mahmud (4).

Shadman Islam (7) and Mominul Haque (0) remained at the crease for the visitors with India looking to wrap things up despite a major part of the match being washed out.

India bowled Bangladesh out for 233 in 74.2 overs earlier in the fourth day. Mominul was the top run-getter for his side, having scored an unbeaten 107 runs on the back of 17 fours and a six.

For India, Jasprit Bumrah picked up three wickets while Mohammed Siraj, Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja found two scalps each.

In reply, India came all guns blazing with the bat and smashed multiple records of fastest team totals in Test cricket history.

The hosts recorded the fastest team 50, 100 and 200 in men's Test cricket, smashing Bangladesh bowlers all over the ground.

Yashasvi Jaiswal (72 off 51) and KL Rahul (68 off 43) smashed crucial half-centuries to give India the upper hand.

On the other hand, star batter Virat Kohli played a promising knock of 47 runs in just 35 balls on the back of four boundaries and a six.

The Rohit Sharma-led side declared their first innings on 285/9 in 34.4 overs after taking a 52-run lead.

Bangladesh were 107/3 at the end of the first day which was called off earlier due to rain interruptions.

Rain completely washed out the third and the fourth days as no play was possible due to the poor drainage system at the venue.
