IND vs ENG 2nd ODI Dream Prediction

After victory in the series opener, India Women will look to carry their winning form into the second ODI when they take on England Women at the iconic Lord's in London on Saturday.

Courtesy of imposing performances by Kranti Goud, Sneh Rana, and Deepti Sharma, India claimed a victory by four wickets and now will head into the second match with an aim to take an unassailable series lead.

In the series opener, Deepti displayed her versatility with the bat as the star all-rounder remained unbeaten on 62 in the run chase of 259. Although she went wicketless and conceded 58 runs in her 10 overs.

Sneha Rana was impressive with the ball, scalping the big wickets of Emma Lamb and Nat Sciver-Brunt in back-to-back overs.

In the first match, England won the toss and opted to bat first. The hosts were restricted to 258/6 after Kranti Goud bagged two wickets and Sneha Rana chipped in with a couple more through the middle overs to hinder England's fight. But half-centuries from Sophia Dunkley and Davidson Richards pushed hosts past the 250-run mark.

In reply, India's top-order batters failed to capitalise on their opportunities. The 90-run partnership off 86 balls between Deepti Sharma and Jemimah Rodrigues proved to be the game changer as the Women In Blue chased down the target with four wickets and 10 balls to spare.
