IND vs ENG 3rd Test Weather Report: The host ended the first day at 251/4 of the third Test against India, where ex-skipper Joe Root scored an unbeaten knock of 99 runs at Lord's. Root (99) and captain Ben Stokes (39) were out there in the middle at stumps.

The Shubman Gill-led side was quite successful during the morning and the last session as fast bowlers Nitish Kumar Reddy, Jasprit Bumrah, and Ravindra Jadeja took wickets.

The ongoing match is well-balanced while heading into Day 2 as the hosts are well aware of the fact that the pitch isn't batters-friendly and the ball has been kept a bit low. As far as the visitors are concerned, they will aim to take wickets at regular intervals and try to be in the commanding position.
