IND vs ENG: The Men in Blue would be flying to England in June this year for a five-match Test series. The first Test match would be held in Headingley, Leeds on June 20 and the other four matches would be held in venues like Birmingham, Lord's, Manchester, and the Oval.

Ajit Agarkar, who is the chief selector of the Indian men's senior team, revealed India's 18-member team for the five-match Test series against England on Saturday and as many as 10 players and as many 8 players, who had participated during the 2021 Test series against England in England were selected for this upcoming series.

Shubman Gill would be leading the team from the front in England and Rishabh Pant has been named as the vice-captain. Gill was picked as the new Test skipper over Jasprit Bumrah after Rohit Sharma announced his retirement from the longest format earlier this month.

Here’s a look at the complete list of changes in the Indian Test team for the upcoming series against England.

IN: Karun Nair, B Sai Sudharsan, Shardul Thakur and Arshdeep Singh are the notable inclusions in India's Test team for the series against England. Although Nair has been called back to the Test squad after eight years, Shardul last represented the country in this format way back in December 2023 against South Africa in 2023 and Kuldeep last played a Test match for India against New Zealand in Bengaluru last year.

Players like Sai Sdharsan and Arshdeep Singh will be making their Test debut during the upcoming series.

OUT: Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara, Mayank Agarwal, R Ashwin, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Wriddhiman Saha and Ishant Sharma, who did play in India's Test series against England in England way back in 2021. Although Rohit, Virat, and Ashwin announced their retirement from the longest format, Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Mayank Agarwal were snubbed owing to inconsistent performances, and Axar Patel and Wriddhiman Saha were snubbed owing to injuries.
