India vs England 3rd Test Highlights: England Win Lord's Test By 22 Runs On Intense Final Day

It will now be decided in the final session of the match as Jadeja and Siraj keep India's hopes alive. India reached  163/9 at the tea break and still need 30 runs to win. England, on the other hand, are just one wicket away.

Joe Root has been introduced for the first time on Day 5. There is hardly any turn at the moment but Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah will look to keep him away. 

Jasprit Bumrah has negotiated the deliveries well. The ball is also not doing much as it was in the first hour. It will be interesting to see how Ravindra Jadeja plays in this innings.

After two back-to-back boundaries, Jofra Archer gives his side a big breakthrough as he bowls Pant for 9. Pant is beaten for speed as he tried to guard but played it down the wrong line, and his stump has gone for a walk.

Ahead of the much-awaited Day 5, India pacer Mohammed Siraj has been fined 15 per cent of his match fee and handed one demerit point for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct.

"We would have loved to have about nine wickets but it is what it is and we'll definitely win the game tomorrow," said Washington Sundar to BBC Sports. 

"We just need to see what requires in that particular situation and do as it is. There is not much in the wicket when you are looking solid and looking to play to the merit of the ball so we'll try and stay positive. We've got a long batting line-up as well, so it's going to help us in every way," he added. 

Incredible stuff from England to reduce India to 58/4 in this challenging run chase. Amazing delivery from Stokes to get rid of the night watchman Akash Deep. India need 135 more runs to win, whereas England are also alive in the contest and will be hunting for the remaining 6 wickets tomorrow at Lord's.

Wicket! Oh no! That was a brain-fade moment as Karun left it despite the awkward bounce on the pitch. Surely that would have gone to hit the stumps as he offered no shot. The partnership is broken as Karun walks back for 14, and Carse gets his first wicket.

Washington is drifting this game in India's favour! With his third wicket, he roars in delight before being embraced by his captain. In trying to rattle Washington Sundar, Ben Stokes ended up succumbing to his own impulsive approach.

In the next over, an inch-perfect yorker from Bumrah and he opened his tally with the wicket of Brydon Carse.

Washington Sundar ends Joe Root's streak of consecutive 50+ scores at Lord's - 68, 143, 103, 104, 40. Root's over-zealous sweep attempt ultimately proved his undoing, as the ball drifted in and nicked off his exposed leg stump. ENG: 154/5 in 42.4 ov.

Joe Root survives lbw shout on the umpire's call. Root's subtle adjustment down the crease may have been the difference-maker, as Paul Reiffel let him off the hook. Ball-tracking shows it to be brushing leg-stump.

India pacers Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah have continued with the same passion in the second session, but they are yet to provide their team a breakthrough. 

Joe Root survives on the very first ball of the second session as wicket-keeper Dhruv Jurel drops the catch standing up to the stumps. To make the matter worse, it was a no-ball by Akash Deep.

India’s session - four wickets on the fourth morning! India pacers made the new ball count once more as they've done all through the series, bagging as many as four wickets in the session. At the time of Lunch, ENG reaches 98/4.

England's aggressive 'Bazball' approach backfires as Harry Brook gifts his big wicket to India. Brook misses a sweep and is bowled around his legs by Akash Deep - England slide to 87 for 4!

Nitish Reddy gives India a big breakthrough as Zak Crawley goes chasing after a wide delivery, only to hand Yashasvi Jaiswal a catch stationed wide at gully. Nitish gives Crawley a send-off as India continue to dominate this morning session. ENG 50/3 in 14.4

Siraj bags his second of the day! Another clever nip-backer beats Ollie Pope all ends up and slams into the pads. A successful review and Ollie Pope's out lbw for 4! The Indian fielders swarm around Siraj as the Lord's erupts in joy. ENG 42/2 in 11.6 ov.

Ben Duckett’s bold 'Bazball' strokeplay sets the tone but it was Mohammed Siraj who had the last laugh. Siraj has the first breakthrough of Day 4- Duckett gone for 12! ENG 22/1 in 5.5 ov.

Little bit of a bad start from Siraj, but Bumrah unsurprisingly settles into his work very quickly, India still hunting.

This Test has seen ball change after ball change and that has meant that when the ball is newest, its by fat the most valuable. India will want to get through to th middle order early and take away England's license to attack. 

The clouds are over London, but it is expected to clear and brighten up soon. Stay tuned folks. 

It is set to be a second innings shootout, more than the previous fixture. Day 3 had its proper flow and was in both teams favours'. Rahul got a ton and Archer was stunning. Stokes showed grit in his run out of Pant. 

Things will be heated when Crawley comes with Duckett, especially since his incident with Gill, where the India skipper confronted him with an abuse-laden rant.
