Where To Watch India National Cricket Team vs England Cricket Team

Rising batting sensation Yashasvi Jaiswal and young pace bowler Harshit Rana made their One-Day International (ODI) debuts for India in Nagpur during the match against England.

Notably, both Jaiswal and Rana have already gained international experience, having represented India in Test matches and T20 Internationals.

India and England are engaged in the clash in a highly anticipated three-match ODI series, with the first match taking place today at the Vidarbha Cricket Stadium in Nagpur.

The Indian team, led by Rohit Sharma, will look to build on their recent success, having won the T20I series against England 4-1.

England skipper Jos Buttler won the toss and elected to bat against India in the opener of a three-match ODI series at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur on Thursday.

Indian captain Rohit presented the ODI cap to Yashasvi Jaiswal, marking his official entry into the Indian ODI team. Meanwhile, senior pace bowler Mohammed Shami had the honour of presenting the ODI cap to Harshit Rana.

While handing the debut cap to Jaiswal, captain Rohit said, "You had a great start to your international career. This is another format which you're gonna enjoy the most. Trust me when I say that because you've got everything that is required to play at this level. And you've been successful in your short career, and this is just a start."

Why Virat Kohli Is Not Playing Today?

Indian batting stalwart Virat Kohli was forced to sit out of the first ODI against England on Thursday, February 6, at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur due to a knee injury. According to an update provided by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on their official X handle, Kohli was nursing a sore right knee, which ruled him out of the match.
