IND vs ENG: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Karun Nair Included In India A Squad For Test Series Against England; Abhimanyu Easwaran To Lead

IND vs ENG: The BCCI has announced the India A squad for the England tour on Thursday. Batters Karun Nair and Ishan Kishan have been included in the India A team for the Test series against England, where Abhimanyu Easwaran would be leading the team from the front. Star batters Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan are also the part of the squad and woud be playing from the second Test match. Dhruv Jurel is the vice-captain, whereas Nitish Kumar Reddy and Shardul Thakur are also the part of the squad. Ruturaj Gaikwad, who had pulled out from the IPL 2025 owing to injury and Sarfaraz Khan have also been imcluded in the sqaud. 

As per the BCCI media release, players like Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan would be joining the team from the second match. The two matches would be held between May 30 and June 6. 

The India A team would be seen for a two first-class matches series against England Lions at Canterbury and North Hampton.

This series will end with the India A team facing the senior men's Indian Test team.
