India vs New Zealand 1st Test: India's star wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant missed out on his seventh Test hundred during the first Test against New Zealand on Saturday.
Pant was dismissed for 99 runs in 105 balls off William ORourke. He smashed nine fours and five sixes
Pant played on a delivery that swung into the left-hander, taking his inside edge and shattering the stumps. nine fours and five sixes.

With his heartbreaking dismissal, Pant has joined an unwanted list of few star wicket-keepers.
Players in the Indian dressing room and KL Rahul, who was standing at the non-striker's, were left heartbroken as Pant missed out on a well-deserved hundred.
He has become only the fourth batter in Test history to be dismissed on 99. He joins the list featuring, MS Dhoni, Brendon McCullum and Jonny Bairstow.
This was Pant's seventh dismissal in the 90s in Test cricket and stood third on the list of most dismissals in the 90s for India.
For India, Pant and Dhoni are the only keepers to have been dismissed in the 90s on five or more occasions in Tests.

After a horrible outing in the first innings, India came up with a remarkable effort in the second innings with Pant making a crucial contribution from his side.
Dealing with a knee issue, Pant scored just 20 runs as India were bowled out for just 46 runs.

The left-handed batter stitched a 177-run partnership with Sarfaraz Khan for the fourth wicket with the latter also smashing his maiden Test hundred.
