IND vs PAK Final: India's match-winner Tilak Varma, who won the Player of the Match, dedicated his award to the nation, declaring, "this is for all the Indians," as Men in Blue clinched a record-extending ninth Asia Cup title with a thrilling victory over Pakistan in the 2025 final.

With a masterful blend of audacity and composure, Tilak orchestrated a rousing victory for India over arch-rivals Pakistan by five-wicket in a nail-biting final.

Tilak reflected on his innings, saying it was crucial to stay calm under pressure and also explained how he rescued India from the dire position as Pakistan bowlers were bowling with precision and varied pace. He praised Sanju Samson's "fantastic knock" and Shivam Dube's command to handle pressure.

"It was pressure. They were bowling well. They were mixing the pace up. I was breathing and trying to stay calm. Fantastic knock from Samson. The way Dube batted under pressure was helpful and important for the country," Tilak said at the post-match presentation.

Tilak highlighted the significance of flexibility, disclosing that he was ready to bat at any position and trusted his game. He also credited his hard work with head coach Gautam Gambhir for helping him adapt to slower wickets.

"We have prepared for every position. You should be flexible. I was prepared to bat at any position. I was backing my game. When the wickets are on the slower side, I have talked to Gauti sir and have worked hard. One of the most special knocks of my life. This is for all the Indians," he added.

Tilak exuded unflappable composure amidst India's top-order collapse, forging crucial partnerships. His 57-run stand with Sanju Samson and a subsequent 60-run partnership with Shivam Dube steadied the ship and eventually guided India to victory.
